День 2	LOS ANGELES – DISNEYLAND – SAN DIEGO (128 mi / 206 km)
Depart Los Angeles for the short drive to Anaheim, home to Mickey Mouse and the original Disneyland. You may explore this fantasyland of magic before continuing south to sunny San Diego. Take a popular route through sparsely populated Indian Country to Monument Valley, where isolated monoliths of red sandstone tower 1,000 ft ( 305 m) above the valley floor. Before leaving Page, be sure to visit Lake Powell. Learn about life in the early days of the canyon and the building of this remarkable engineering wonder at the Carl Hayden Visitor Center. Heading north through Kanab, make the detour to see Cedar Breaks National Monument with magical rock formations in vivid hues, a foretaste of Bryce Canyon National Park. Continue to Bryce, the land of Hoodoos. There are easy walks offered along the rim or make it a trek and descend into the spires of enchanting Bryce Canyon.

BRYCE CANYON NATIONAL PARK – ZION NATIONAL PARK (81 mi / 130 km)

Take advantage of the short drive time today to spend some more time in Bryce Canyon National Park in the morning. Then head south to Zion National Park, a monument of time carved by wind and water and well known for geological features with names like The Three Patriarchs, Bridge Mountain, White Throne and the hidden Temple of Sinawava. If you wish to see more of the area, visit the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument as well.

Depart westward deep into the Mojave Desert to Death Valley National Park, an area of unexpected contrasts. Here you’ll find the lowest point in the Western hemisphere; mountains over 11,000 ft (3,353 m); large sand dunes; isolated valleys and volcanic craters. Cross the high desert over the Towne Pass and make it a point to look back into Death Valley at the overlook. Imagine what the original immigrants thought after completing the same journey on foot…hence the name Death Valley. Enjoy spectacular views of the Sierra Nevada mountains as you descend into neighboring Panamint Valley before continuing to Ridgecrest.

Today, head west to Lake Isabella and follow the beautiful Kern River through the southern end of Sequoia National Forrest to Bakersfield. Then, turn south and travel through the San Gabriel Mountains to the megalopolis of Los Angeles.
